Taberna La Niña del Pisto , fantastic Restaurant and Tapas bar in Marbella , Spain

What a great place ! It is our second visit to this quaint , busy and cosy Restaurant in one of the narrowest street in Marbellas Old Town. the place is full of charm with a great atmosphere , full of local and Spanish national from all over The country. If there are many locals (specially in Spain)you know the food will be great ( in most cases ) . We had Salmorejo it is a cold thick soup with a tomato base , this one had the texture of an ice cream but obviously not so cold, topped with ” Jamon Serrano” , small pieces of hard boiled egg and a bit of Tuna , really the best one I ever had . Normally I make it at home but this one was another level. We also had the grilled squid ,it was out of this world, among other things we had “Huevos estrellados con Chistorra” fried egg on a base of french fries and topped with Spanish sausage , we loved it but can be a bit heavy at night if you are not used to it. AS AN ADVISE IT IS BETTER NOT TO ASK FOR ADDITIONAL CONDIMENTS LIKE ,pepper , mayonnaise and absolutely not ketchup they really get offended LOL . Reservations are highly recomended !!

On top of that we had a fabulous time with our friend that live in Veracruz , Mexico – Brisa and Pepe – a great night , lots of laughs great Spanish food and wines!! This place is located in Marbella Old Town , Calle San Lazaro 2 , tel + 34 633 320 022
